The Bundesverband Kinderhospiz represents numerous children's hospice institutions all over Germany and speaks up in society in order to inform the public about the taboo subject "children and death". Furthermore. it helps to get those children and families out of the social aside.
Concentrated competency against strokes
Annually, about 300 children and youths in Germany suffer from a stroke. At the children's clinic of the university clinic Münster, the largest collection of data to this subject is genereted for years. On the basis of this data, the doctors try to find out more about causes and therapy.
Help for the orphans of medicine
The Care-for-Rare Foundation lights a beacon of hope and advocates for the orphans of medicine, irrespective of their origin or the financial circumstances of their families. The organisation follows the vision that no child has to die because of his rare disease.

Unterstützung für ukrainische Flüchtlinge in Polen
Hunderttausende Ukrainerinnen und Ukrainer befinden sich aktuell auf der Flucht. Viele von ihnen suchen im benachbarten Polen Zuflucht. Der Caritasverband Osnabrück unterstützt daher seinen polnischen Partnerverband im Bistum Ermland-Masuren mit Spenden für die dort ankommenden Flüchtenden.
Hilfe für Menschen in Osnabrück und Umgebung
Der Stiftungsfonds „Horizont“ der Caritas Osnabrück soll die tägliche Arbeit des Verbandes ergänzen. Der Fonds ermöglicht eine schnellere Reaktion auf drängende Probleme. Zudem bietet er ehrenamtlichen Helfern eine spannende Plattform.
Carlos and You
In 2014, 2-year-old Carlos came down with leukaemia and a stem cell donor was urgently searched. Immediately, the DKMS started a big registration action together with Carlos's family and friends. The more registrated donors there were, the bigger was the hope for Carlos and all other blood cancer patients to find a suitable donor. For Carlos, this life-saver was found in the same year.
