The cultural fund of the Lebenshilfe Bochum creates space to boost the talents of children and people with disabilities and to show them in public.

Ein Zuhause für alte, kranke und verletzte Katzen

Um die 60 Tiere werden auf dem Gnadenhof betreut. Hier finden die Tiere bis zu ihrem Lebensende ein Zuhause. Ohne Käfighaltung leben die Katzen in einem 120 Quadratmeter großen Haus mit angrenzendem 80 Quadratmeter großen Freigehege. Die Betreuung der Tiere und alle anstehenden Arbeiten werden von ehrenamtlichen Helferinnen und Helfern übernommen.

Tierschutzverein in Bochum seit 1899

Tradition und Moderne prägen die tierschützerische Arbeit des „Tierschutzverein Bochum, Hattingen und Umgebung e. V.“ Der Tierschutz hat in Bochum und Hattingen eine lange Tradition und wird von vielen Tierfreunden im täglichen Alltag liebevoll praktiziert.

Doctors still fight too often in vain for the lives of children suffering from cancer. New therapies have to be developped and the psycho-social care for the small patients and their families have to be improved. For these reasons, the cyclists of the Tour der Hoffnung collect donations every year.

Transplant-Kids e.V. bietet den Familien von organtransplantierten Kindern Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe an. Hier helfen Betroffene anderen Betroffenen, werden zu Ansprechpartnern und Begleitern auf dem schwierigen Weg.

Die von Robin Gosens gegründete träumenlohntsich-Stiftung setzt sich für Integration, Chancengleichheit und Barrierefreiheit von Kindern und Jugendlichen mit einer Vergangenheit der Flucht, aus sozial schwachen Familien, oder mit jeglicher anderen Beeinträchtigung ein – denn jedes Kind hat das gleiche Recht auf die Verwirklichung seiner Träume.
