Deutsche Krebshilfe e.V.
For more than 38 years, the Deutsche Krebshilfe (German Cancer Help) campaigns for the interests of people suffering from cancer. It was founded as a non-profit organisation on September 25th in 1974. Its aim is to battle against cancer in all forms of appearance. Following the motto "Help. Do research. Inform.", the organisation is boosting projects for the improvement of prevention, early diagnosis, diagnosis, therapy, medical follow-up care and psycho-social care including self-help. The Deutsche Krebshilfe informs the population about cancer and the possibilities to avoid cancer (prevention) and to get an early diagnosis. It perceives itself as an advocate for the cancer patients and campaigns on all levels of medicine.

Battle against children's cancer
The Deutsche KinderKrebshilfe speaks up for the battle against cancer in childhood. The foundation supports the creation and development of centres for children suffering cancer, the development of new therapies and the creation of parents' houses or apartments nearby the hospitals.
