This is how Manuel Neuer the foundation of the Manuel Neuer Kids Foundation explains. His home town, Gelsenkirchen, occupies a top spot in an inglorious statistic: almost every fourth child suffers from poverty. This means that those children often do not have a warm meal a day, that they are lacking clothes or the fees for sports clubs are not affordable. Thus, banal things that are normal to many people are missing, but necessary for a good development of the children. In order to provide sustainable help, the foundation supports selected projects systematically.
