Since 1998, Löwe für Löwe e.V. (Lion for Lion) campaigns for children in Sierra Leone. All 42 members are boosting unsalaried. Since the foundation of the association, diverse projects have been realised, like for example the construction of a children's house and two primary schools. Furthermore, since 2010, children under five years get free treatment in the health and maternity unit in order to reduce children's mortality in Sierra Leone. Midwifery is free as well. The latest project is a moringa schooling farm with the aim to feed undernourished children with moringa, as moringa is rich in vitamins and minerals. For 20 years, the association is working together with a local NGO in Sierra Leone.
