The Peter Maffay Foundation, founded in 2000, works in Germany, Romania and Majorca and offers therapeutical active stays for children needing help. The aim is to provide shelters and sanctuaries for traumatized and hurt children, where they can find relief, power and new courage. In total, the foundation makes overseen holidays in its own houses possible for more than 1,000 children and youths per year. The most important partner is nature - to make nature visible as an actual therapist is the central idea of those holidays. Because of this, all foundation houses are placed in beautiful landscapes.
