The Kinderkrankenhaus St. Marien Landshut is a paediatric clinic and is responsible for the diagnosis and therapy of all physical and mental diseases as well as dysmaturities, concerning premature babies and children and youths up to the age of 18. As children aren't "small adults", specific medical, therapeutical and custodial competences are needed to care for their health problems. For this reason, the clinic does not only offer general paediatric care, but also highly specialised wards.
