Dean Schneider Foundation

Dean Schneider's mission is to bring animals into people's hearts, as he firmly believes that humans only protect what they love. He sees it as his duty to build an emotional bridge between humans and animals, which forms the foundation for all species conservation. In recent years, he has gained millions of followers on social media – thus establishing a global voice for wildlife.
Born in Switzerland, he now lives in South Africa and dedicates his entire life to animals. He built the Hakuna Mipaka Oasis, and after two years, many investments, and a lot of work, he finally launched the fundraising program with the Dean Schneider Foundation that keeps the oasis alive today.
The oasis is home to thousands of different wildlife species, including lions, giraffes, leopards, antelopes, baboons, hyenas, snakes, birds, and reptiles, as well as all the animals he has rescued over the years. If the rescued animals cannot be released back into the wild after the rehabilitation program, the farm offers them a wild and beautiful life for the rest of their lives.
The Dean Schneider Foundation uses donations primarily to maintain the Hakuna Mipaka Oasis, covering costs such as veterinary bills, animal feed, security personnel and animal care costs, electricity, camp maintenance, and much more. Remaining funds support valuable animal conservation projects, especially wildlife.
