Childhood in war: the right of protection
Wether in Syria, Iraq, Yemen or South Sudan - millions of children worldwide grow up in war. It is unimaginable what those children already had to experience in their short lives: a nightmare that became cruel reality. With protection and play zones, the organisation creates a place of security for children in crisis situations. Playing is important in order to develop cognitive and social skills and in order to find tranquility in such wearing situations. The project staff is trained to support the children, to give them a feeling of security and to help them handling their experiences.
