The Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder Tübingen e. V. (Booster club for children suffering from cancer Tübingen) supports children suffering from cancer and their families for more than 35 years. The diagnosis of cancer often causes black despair for families and the whole family life is put upside down. The booster club wants to give families power, help and hope during this hard time. During the long therapy, families find a new home at the parents' house or family house. The comprehensive care and consulting offer of the booster club, like for example arts and music therapy, brothers and sisters days, parents' coffee, parents groups and therapeutical leisure activities, help children and their families to get by during the hard time. After the clinical treatment as well, the family is not left alone.
