The pianist and composer David Ianni and the DKMS have a very special auction on the occasion of the World Blood Cancer Day: Together with Steinway & Sons, an Essex piano is auctioned. The music instrument has been transformed into a unique artistic piece by the children of the Mercator School in Berlin, under the guidance of the Luxemburgish artist Raphael Gindt. Before the piano being overhanded to you at the Steinway manufacture in Hamburg, David Ianni tours with it to the biggest railway stations in Germany from May 23^rd to 28^th, in order to find with this "Hoffnungsklavier" and his composition "Friends" new stem cell donors for blood cancer patients.
