Aktion Deutschland Hilft
In 2014, about 200,000 people have asked for asylum in Germany. Currently, it is estimated that a sum of 800,000 people will ask for asylum. When fleeing from war, persecution and other threats, people hope for a better life here in Germany. The Aktion Deutschland Hilft (Action Germany Helps) is an alliance of different charities, consisting of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB), Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO), the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe (JUH), Malteser and the Paritätischer Gesamtverband.

Aktion Deutschland Hilft - Hochwasserhilfe
Die "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" ist aktuell in den Gebieten der Hochwasserkatastrophe in NRW, Bayern und Rheinland-Pfalz im Einsatz. „‚Aktion Deutschland Hilft‘ ist mit seinen Hilfsorganisationen – insbesondere den Johannitern, den Maltesern und dem ASB – unmittelbar vor Ort, um den betroffenen Menschen zu helfen. In solchen Zeiten ist es wichtig, schnell gemeinsam zu handeln und zusammen zu stehen“, so Manuela Rossbach, Vorständin des Zusammenschlusses deutscher Hilfsorganisationen.

Aktion Deutschland Hilft leistet den vom Krieg in der Ukraine betroffenen Menschen Nothilfe. Gemeinsam hilft das Bündnis Familien, die vor der Gewalt fliehen - in der Ukraine und auf den Stationen ihrer Flucht.
