Young people and slight strokes
Annually, around 270,000 people suffer from strokes, three thirds of them are more than 70 years old. However, it is less known that 9,000 to 14,000 young people under the age of 50 suffer from strokes as well. The Stiftung Deutsche Schlaganfall-Hilfe annually organises an experience exchange "Young people and slight strokes". In the next year, the event shall take place in Bavaria, at the Ammersee. This exchange of experiences is a very intense weekend takes on the situations of the affected people (patients between 18-50) and their relatives separately. Both groups are participating in different workshops leaded created by experts. So that this broad and important offer can be realised this year, the foundation needs support.
